Why not visit Pacific Plywood Dam while you're here, as expected you could also check out Alsea Log Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Dillard Log Pond is       a rather wet place regularly with a great deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. Throughout the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 80's at Dillard Log Pond, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Dillard Log Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. On a delightful day you get a panorama of Mount Obette from Dillard Log Pond, and getting to Brockway Creek from Dillard Log Pond is uncomplicated.
