Going for a hike on the Gearhart Trail is always a splendid adventure. Lakes? Sure, Paradise Lake is around here. Dicks Pond is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Dicks Pond called the Hanan Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dicks Pond has to offer, you can camp at Irishmans Campground. Dicks Pond gets very little rain; the wettest month of       the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay Fremont Inn is a great choice, and let's not forget Morgan Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Dicks Pond rules! Go for a hike on the Whisky Spring                  Trail It's always glorious to visit Lucky Six Spring. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Dicks Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's; overnight lows at Dicks Pond all through the wintertime mostly drop into the 10's.
