The beauty of Dew Lake attracts many people from all around. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too glorious to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Squaw Creek, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Wickiup Plain Trail. Dew Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Dew Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year
is regularly December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dew Lake you can take a hike along the Nash Lake Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo. Throughout the summer months at Dew Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dew Lake are in the

20's. This spot is excellent, just check out all the cool things to do in the vicinity of Dew Lake. Visit Hinton Creek since you're here at Dew Lake. There's so much to do here at Dew Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a nice location for that.
All year is a nice time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. Mesa Springs is a great local attraction, and a pleasant spree to Cole Chuck Meadow is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. There are other places here than Dew Lake, for example Reese Lake; the sight of The Wife is striking. If you came to camp Upper Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Mirror Lake Trail.
Any time is a great time at Dew Lake if you fancy the outdoors. A good nearby hotel is Best Western Ponderosa Lodge. There's whitewater on Horse Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and Husband Lake is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a pleasant choice; the slopes of Mt. Bachelor are so inviting noone can resist.

... manicured parks, wide open spaces and peak cornices. Also offered are sled dog rides, lift-accessible tubing and snowshoe tours lead by USFS rangers. The resort?s annual snowfall averages 370 inches of low-density powder due to its high desert location and altitude. At just over 9,000 feet, you can see to Mt Shasta in California up to Mt Adams in Washington State.
Mt Bachelor is defined by its setting ? a pristine mountain experience that is as pure as the day the volcano erupted 15,000 years ago. Riders now enjoy 360-degree access to terrain off the Summit and Northwest chairlifts, a five year back catchline program that was just completed August 2008. Now you can pick a backside fall line that no other soul will take that day. An additional 980 acres off the Summit opens up expert rolling bowls and an additional 358 acres of wild tree riding is accessible west of the Northwest shoulder. All backside terrain is for the advanced rider.
In acknowledgement of the young advanced rider, Mt Bachelor sponsors a Freeriders and grommies (rippers under 13) with events and competitions...

Winopee Lake
11 miles away
Went to Winopee lake this weekend...it was a little dissapointing because the lake is about 45% covered with reeds and lilly pads. The Eastern shore is the only one you can accesst the water without having to wade through reeds. There is quite a few algae blooms so swimming isn't an option. Overall, the view was nice but not spectacular. There are three decent campsites at the lake, popular with horse camps. The best of the three sites is the one on the Eastern bank, take the first trail you come accross before reaching the junction for sno-shoe lake. The second and third campsites are on the West bank and are a little harder to find...head for the clifs and you are there....
