Why not stop by Devils Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Twin Bridges Campground is always a glorious experience; the Burnt Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. If the weather is pretty, you acquire a fine panorama of Zigzag Mountain from Devils Lake, and Devils Lake is right by the Cast Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Devils Meadow Campground is a great

| | local campground, and lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Burnt Lake. For the duration of the summer at Devils Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Devils Lake. All year is a delightful time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone | |

but if it's for you then we recommend Zigzag River; there are plenty of folks from Hood River here at Devils Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Devils Lake a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December,
and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Take a little journey to Lady Creek since you're here at Devils Lake,
and a magnificent close by hotel is Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range. If you want a little side tour, try Zigzag Canyon, and there's nice hiking along
the Devils Canyon Trail. Devils Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl; if you need a place to stay Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt. Hood is a tremendous
choice. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Timberline Lodge, and there are some great whitewater spots on Sandy River.
