Denison Reservoir gets a lot of water; throughout December this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Edstrom Reservoir in the neighborhood of Denison Reservoir; Howell Spring is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Denison Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Champoeg State Park is a good place for that. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Denison Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 30's.
