Go to Deer Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Hemlock Lake Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and going for a hike on the Red Lake Trail is always a glorious adventure. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Deep Lake is a lake close by, and nearby you find the Cold Spring Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do close to Deer Lake.

Deer Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that snows the most; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. A journey to Crater Lake National Park is recommended, | |

Through the months of summer at Deer Lake temperatures are mostly in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows
during the winter for Deer Lake tend to be in the 10's. Camping at Deer Lake is tremendous fun, Saddle Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you get a tremendous sight of Imagination Peak from here.
