This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Deer Creek Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lincoln City KOA, and | |

there are some fine whitewater spots on Siletz River. Dry warm beds await you at O'dysius Hotel, and some of the water nearby flows, like Calkins Creek. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do
here at Deer Creek Lake. There's so much to do here at Deer Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lee's Evergreen Park is a nice location for that; a pretty lake like Coon Lake is a glorious location to pop by. All the
outdoors fun things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Nestucca River. If you need a place to stay Bel-Aire Inn and Suites is a pleasant choice, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Neskowin Beach.

Coyote Rock RV Resort and Marina
 | We'll be back! We loved the location, the setting (as nice or nicer than any nearby state park), the amenities, the hosts and the other campers! We rented a boat twice and really LOVED the crabbing package. Recommend the spots closer to the river :) ... We love this campground and have used it numerous times. Good fishing, good campgrounds and the greatest hosts and employees. Close to shopping, and many things to do. Full hookups and will accomodate larger rv's.... |

And all of a sudden there was some noises in the trees behind our tent.... Again I was scared that it would be a bear (the reason I am scared of bears is that when I was a kid, I saw one chase my daddy out of his shower at our camp). So anyways where was I... Oh yeah... So my husband, the cool kind macho man, goes behind the tent to investigate the issue and he comes back laughing and saying, ''well, woman, you said you love raccoons, right?'' I say, ''yeah, why?'' Here they are... And out walks 2 raccoons. I was so excited and I took some pictures.
So anyways, the only other thing I want to say is that when we went there last year the moon was not shining because it was a new moon and when we are going back next month in August, it will be a new moon again. So, well, we won't see the moon on the ocean. My husband was so cute last year when w... |
