The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Southern Cascade Range has to offer. All through the summer months highs here at Deep Lake reach the 60's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's       to Deep Lake. Be careful coming to Deep Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Deep Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Hemlock Lake Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and you'll meet a lot of people from Klamath Falls here. Do stop by Trapper Lake in the neighborhood of Deep Lake, it's a delightful lake; the Wickiup Trail offers hiking at its best. A striking lake like Donna Lake close to Deep                  Lake is a nice site to pop by, and there's fine hiking along the Cold Spring Trail. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Southern Cascade Range rules! Lee Peak is clearly visible from Deep Lake; Crater Lake National Park is a very good spot to go to. A great deal of rainfall falls at Deep Lake; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
