Sure, Heavenly Twin Lakes is       close at hand, and you can go for a hike on the Nannie Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Sevenmile Marsh Campground is a great campground nearby, and good hiking is available along the Red Lake Trail. Deep Lake frequently gets a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most while July is generally the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Hemlock Lake Campground is a magnificent place                  to camp, and a journey to Cold Spring will fill your spirit with fine feelings. Deep Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Deep Lake regularly tend to be in the 60's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Deep Lake tend to be in the 10's.
