Deep Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. All the outdoors cool things in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Deep Lake without first going for a hike along the Red Lake Trail, and naturally, all our national parks are splendid locations to stop at and Crater Lake National Park is no exception. | | 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Deep Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. Stay the night at Sevenmile Marsh Campground, and Cold Spring is a beautiful location to have a look at while you're at Deep Lake. There are great sites to look at along the Nannie Creek Trail; there are other sites | |

Imagination Peak from Deep Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Deep Lake. Going for a hike on the Cold Spring Trail is always a delightful adventure; this is a popular spot for people from Klamath Falls. Deep Lake
is a wet spot that gets much precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month of the year is July.
