     But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Bommers Flat is a delightful location to check out, and Dean Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Central Point Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground. Lane Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Medford.
This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Dean Reservoir, for example
 
   McCormick Reservoir; an afternoon playing golf at Laurel Hill Golf Course is always a delight. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dean Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Dean Reservoir through the wintertime generally plunge into the 20's. The yearly rainfall here at Dean Reservoir is about average; of all the months in a year December is the one with  
               the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
Dean Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Siskiyou Mountains. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MEDFORD-CENTRAL POINT is a great choice; there's glorious hiking along the Chicago Trail. This lake is so wonderful. People from Medford love to come to Dean Reservoir, and if you fancy a little side spree, try Gold Gulch.
So much fun stuff to do at Dean Reservoir, so little time. Johns Peak is beautiful and can be distinguished from Dean Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Dean Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Millpond Campground is a delightful spot for that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Siskiyou Mountains. Hixson Reservoir is a wonderful lake next to Dean Reservoir, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
