If you are in Jackson county it's always a good idea to stop by Dean Reservoir. Lakes are fine; Medford Forest Nursery Reservoir is a lake that's near Dean Reservoir, and Gold Gulch is another great spot to stop at nearby. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Go for a hike on the Chicago Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River.

| | You just should fancy the Siskiyou Mountains. A golf course close to Dean Reservoir is Laurel Hill Golf Course, and you're possibly addicted to lakes, McCormick Reservoir is one of those close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Bommers Flat are tremendous to go to, and hey, Lane Creek is a perfect local stream.

At Dean Reservoir during the summer highs are in the 80's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the
40's while Dean Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. Dean Reservoir gets a common amount of precipitation; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.
