Dean Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Millpond Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and why not explore close by Lane Creek if you're here at Dean Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot near Dean Reservoir is Gold Gulch; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MEDFORD-CENTRAL POINT. Point Koa Kampground is a splendid place to camp nearby. While you're here at Dean Reservoir you can play some golf at Laurel Hill Golf Course, and from Dean Reservoir you acquire a pleasant panorama of Johns Peak. All year is a wonderful
time in the Siskiyou Mountains if you love the outdoors. A picturesque lake like Hixson Reservoir in the neighborhood of Dean Reservoir is a great place to visit, and whitewater paddling is great on Rogue River. At Dean Reservoir
through the summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Dean Reservoir. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains,
too delightful to be true. Bommers Flat is a picturesque site any time of year; Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Medford is a great location to get some rest.

Mt. Ashland
 | 23 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
