Take a hike on the Summit Creek Trail; not far from Dead Horse Lake you'll come across Needham Pond which is a scenic lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Dead Horse Lake, too glorious to be true. | | Dead Horse Lake. Hiking along the Western Rim National Recreation Trail is tremendous fun. Lakes are tremendous; Clear Lake is a lake that's next to Dead Horse Lake.

natural beauty of this area. High temperatures at Dead Horse Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in
the 10's overnight here at Dead Horse Lake.
There are some great whitewater spots on Snake River, and Brigham Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting.
