Fremont Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. For the period of the long summer days here at Dead Horse Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Dead Horse Lake. Dead Horse Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range.       Not much rainfall falls here at Dead Horse Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. North Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and don't leave Dead Horse Lake without first going for a hike along the Hanan Trail. Dead Horse Rim is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Dead Horse Lake; the Whisky Spring Trail offers hiking at its best. This place, the Southern                  Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing things.
