    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Dead End Reservoir. Dead End Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. The Coffeepot Trail offers hiking at its best, and nice hiking is available along the Black Canyon Trail. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Blue Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Fish House Inn is a good spot to camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dead End Reservoir;  
   South Prong Trail is a fine local trail.
It is very arid here at Dead End Reservoir mostly; all through November this area sees the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably hooked on lakes, Aspen Reservoir is one of those close by; camping is available at Pine Tree Campground. For the duration of the summertime months at Dead End Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down
 
               it falls down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 30's while Dead End Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is one of the destinations in the vicinity of Dead End Reservoir that are brilliant to go to; Hat Spring is a striking site to stop at while you're at Dead End Reservoir. Just can't get enough of Dead End Reservoir.
