If you are traveling by, why not stop by Dead End Reservoir. Dead End Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. The Coffeepot Trail offers hiking at its best, and nice hiking is available along the Black Canyon Trail. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Blue Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Fish House Inn is a good spot to camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dead End Reservoir;

It is very arid here at Dead End Reservoir mostly; all through November this area sees the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably hooked on lakes, Aspen Reservoir is one of those close by; camping is available at Pine Tree Campground.
