Near Dead End Reservoir you hit upon the Black Canyon Trail which is a great hiking trail; while you're here, you could also pop by pretty Blue Jay Reservoir. There are great sites to discover along the Coffeepot                  Trail; camping at Fish House Inn is always a pleasant experience. At Dead End Reservoir during the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Dead End Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
