Paddling on Owyhee River - North Fork is so much fun, and Maher Dam is striking. Deacon Reservoir is a location that is quite arid mostly; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Grasshopper Trail. Whitewater paddling is good on Owyhee River; not far from Deacon Reservoir you'll stumble on Maher Reservoir which is a lovely lake. This
