Deacon Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Deacon Field is a nice location here at Deacon Reservoir, and Owyhee River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. Do explore Maher Dam since you're here at Deacon Reservoir; paddling on Owyhee River - North Fork is so much fun. Summertime highs at Deacon Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs

This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Grasshopper Trail is tremendous fun. Deacon Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout November; the driest month of the year is July. | |
