Baker RV Park is a magnificent campground here, and of course Marble Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors cool stuff near De Vos Pond will keep you coming back time and again. While you're here at De Vos Pond you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail; good skiing awaits you at Anthony Lakes. Near De Vos Pond you find Hibbard Gulch which is a fine place to stop       by, and De Vos Pond is not far at all from La Grande. De Vos Pond is a nice spot to camp, Mountain View Holiday Travel is a nice spot, and Western Motel is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at De Vos Pond, you can go for a hike along the Rock Creek Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Trail Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. All through the long summer days here at De Vos Pond, high                  temperatures mostly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's while De Vos Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Butler Reservoir is in the vicinity of De Vos Pond, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Elkhorn Crest Trail.
