Good hiking is available along the Cottonwood Creek Trail, and Davis Spring Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Kirkland Campground is a splendid local campground. Davis Spring Reservoir gets very little rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Cook Creek Trail; Imnaha River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
