Going for a hike on the Howard Cutoff Trail is always a nice adventure, and lakes are such calm sites, why not explore Cutout Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Cottonwood Creek Trail, and Davis Spring Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Kirkland Campground is a splendid local campground. Davis Spring Reservoir gets very little rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest

| | month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Cook Creek Trail; Imnaha River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. Summertime highs at Davis Spring Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 30's while Davis Spring Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
