Davis Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Davis Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. The warmest time of the year at Davis Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's.

| | Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Davis Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Hoodoo is one of those things you just ought to do, and a great place to camp here at Davis Lake is Trout Lake Campground. All year is a fine time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marion Creek; you can go for a hike on the Blue Lake Trail. If you come | |

at the right time of year, Santiam River - North offers some good whitewater. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. Good hiking is available along the Marion Lake Trail,
and as expected Turpentine Creek is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at. There are brilliant places to look at along the Pine Ridge Trail, and if the weather is lovely, you acquire a perfect view of Green Peak from Davis
Lake. A short tour to Gatch Falls is always worthwhile, and if you need a place to stay Detroit Motel is a pleasant choice. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. Lakes? Sure,
Cleo Lake is nearby, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Suttle Lake is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Tombstone Prairie Campground if you're here at Davis Lake, and Marion Flats is a stunning site any time of year.
