One of the overriding marks of the surroundings of Davis Lake is Green Peak, and Trout Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail near Davis Lake called the Blue Lake Trail, and Tombstone Prairie Campground is       a fine campground nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. The Pine Ridge Trail is a magnificent hiking trail next to Davis Lake, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Santiam River - North. Near Davis Lake you come across the Marion Lake Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and do stop by Monty Lake, it's a delightful lake. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are                  in the 70's at Davis Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Davis Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Turpentine Creek is a glorious place to pop by; everybody loves Marion Flats. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Gatch Falls is an inspiring place to pop by while here, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo. You just should adore Davis Lake. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marion Creek, and a glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Ponderosa Lodge. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are truly bountiful here at Davis Lake.
