    Why not stop by Davis Creek Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Blue Mountains has to offer. Cinnabar Flat is a great site to check out; a tour to Davis Creek Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Buck Spring.
At Davis Creek Reservoir you don’t see much rain; during November
 
   this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is September. At Davis Creek Reservoir all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Davis Creek Reservoir are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Davis Creek Reservoir, you'll hit upon Coyote Reservoir which is a beautiful  
               lake, and the Black Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best.
Having a wonderful time in the Blue Mountains is trouble-free. A journey to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Davis Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fish House Inn is a brilliant site for that. Lakes? Sure, Fort Reservoir is around here, and why not a little side spree to Davis Creek. While staying at Davis Creek Reservoir you could always discover Cougar Gulch; there's great hiking along the South Prong Trail.
If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Davis Creek Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Pine Tree Campground; Davis Creek Reservoir is right by the Dry Cabin Creek Trail.
