Don't leave Davenport Pond without first going for a hike along the Crabtree Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not       for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Crabtree Creek, and Davenport Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Woods Trailer RV Park is a brilliant local campground. All through the warm days of summer at Davenport Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Davenport Pond dipping                  down into the 30's through winter nights. Getting to Carter Creek from Davenport Pond is simple, and after a long day outdoors Valley Inn Lebanon is a nice spot to spend a night or two. The yearly precipitation here at Davenport Pond is about average; most of the rain falls during December, and July is the month with the least moisture. You'll meet a lot of folks from Albany-Lebanon here, and there are good spots to explore along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail.
