A scenic lake like Berthelson Pond near Davenport Pond is a delightful spot to pop by, and camping at Premier RV Resort at Mallard Creek Golf Course is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful. Carter Creek is in the vicinity of Davenport Pond and is always a delight to check out, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites       ALBANY is a good place to get some rest. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do close to Davenport Pond. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Crabtree Creek; you'll find a wonderful lake called Little Reservoir. Throughout the months of summer at Davenport Pond highs are mostly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Davenport                  Pond. The Snow Peak Mill City Trail is a great hiking trail near Davenport Pond, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Crabtree Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of precipitation that falls at Davenport Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
