This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Cascade Range. Near Darlene Lake you hit upon the Calamut Way which is a delightful hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Shelter Cove Resort. Darlene Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July.       There is a great hiking trail right next door to Darlene Lake called the Windy Lakes Trail, and from Darlene Lake you obtain a fine view of Cowhorn Mountain. For the duration of the summer at Darlene Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Darlene Lake. Be careful coming to Darlene Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home                  again. A nice close by hotel is Crater Lake Motel. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Suzanne Lake, and going for a hike on the Windy Pass Way is always a glorious adventure. There's so much to do here at Darlene Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lucile Campground is a perfect spot for that, and hey, Gotta ski right?
