If you are in this part of Oregon make sure to pay a visit to Daly Lake. Summertime highs at Daly Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Daly Lake. Just can't get enough of Daly Lake. After a long day outdoors Detroit Motel is a good site to spend a night or two, and a nice place to camp here at Daly

| | Lake is Detroit Lake State Park. This lake is so wonderful.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. The snow is tremendous at Hoodoo; Daly Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a good local campground. If you need a spot to stay All Season's Motel is a nice choice, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Breitenbush River. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Going for a hike on the Straight Creek Cat Trail is always a great adventure, and Parish Lake is a great lake nearby.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is so good! There are good spots
to look at along the Coffin Mountain Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Santiam River - North offers some wonderful whitewater. Don't leave Daly Lake without first going for a hike along the Pyramid Trail; the top of Three
Pyramids is easily distinguished from Daly Lake. A good deal of rainfall falls at Daly Lake; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range.
