A visit to Dahl Log Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Hawley Reservoir is a lake that's close to Dahl Log Pond, and if you need a place to stay PLAINVIEW MOTEL is a perfect choice. Yeah, come here to Dahl Log Pond for a great time. Near Dahl Log Pond you locate the Grassy Knob Trail which is a good hiking trail, and there's some flowing water close by, China Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay.

Why not visit Gravel Point also while you're here, and Dahl Log Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Beach Loop RV Park is a wonderful local campground.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Elk River, and if you came to camp Bandon By The Sea Recreational Vehicle Park is a great place to do that. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.

This is the most beautiful lake on the oregon coast. It has pleanty of huge bass and other fish in it. I saw two ospreys and one bald eagle on it. There is lots of wildlife on this lake because it is private and nobody fishes it....
This is a private lake. However, I have a 6.5 acre parcel that has access to this lake. You can fish for trophy bass from your own dock or boat that comes with this property. The property is splittable into 2 parcels that each have their own deeded lake access. All this and way more for only 369K OBO. Upper Pony Creek Reservoir

I work for the Coos Bay-North Bend water board and have the unique pleasure to view the Upper Pony Creek Dam, The Reservoir and the surrounding watershed when work there is required. The area is quiet as it is a restricted area and the resident Elk herd is often seen along with a deer or two once and a while. When the weather is nice the lake is a beautiful blue. The trees are in a scheduled harvest cycle and replaced when cut so there is stands of huge trees alongside smaller sized tree patches. all in all it is a pleasure to get to ''work'' in such a beautiful environment and to have the distinct opportunity to live in the area I do. It is possible to view this magnificant area when tours are made available through the Water Board.... |
