Do stop by Dahl Log Pond while you're in this part of Oregon. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. If you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some nice whitewater, and the Grassy Knob Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dahl Log Pond has to offer, you can camp at Beach Loop RV Park;

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. If you need a location to stay PLAINVIEW MOTEL is a great choice; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Coos Bay here. Dew Valley is a fine site to spend some time at, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Geiger Creek Reservoir is one of those nearby. Dahl Log Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest
