Dads Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. Agness Pass is close to Dads Lake and is a perfect place, and do put some time aside to spend at Billings Rapids if you're here at Dads Lake. So many entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Coquille River - South Fork, and the Mountain       Wells Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Port Orford Cedar Experimental Forest is a forest close to Dads Lake that you can go to, and get soaked paddling on Coquille River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Dads Lake is not far at all from Brookings, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Lower River Trail. So many fun things to do at Dads Lake, so little time. Why not camp at Agness RV Park since you're here at Dads Lake; if you're                  looking for some flowing water? Try Billings Creek. Camping at Dads Lake is pleasant fun, China Flat Campground is a pleasant local campground, and close by you stumble on the Bear Camp Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. What would a spot like Dads Lake be without exciting close by features like Big Bend. Through the summer months at Dads Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Dads Lake.
