Cyrus Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Cyrus Reservoir has to offer. Cyrus Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, K O A Kampgrounds is a splendid local campground, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Deschutes River. | | Cyrus Reservoir from Bend, you won't be the only one, and nearby you come across the Three Creek Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
Aspen Lakes Golf Course is a great golf course nearby; Five Pine Lodge is a nice place to get some rest. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. is always a great experience. Cyrus Dam has great water scenery and it's right next door to Cyrus Reservoir, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squaw
Creek.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Cyrus Reservoir a wet spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be
without some skiing at Mt. Bachelor. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Green Lakes Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two.
During the summer months,
highs regularly are in the 70's at Cyrus Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's while Cyrus Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
