Do stop by Cutout Reservoir while you're in this part of Oregon. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Howard Cutoff Trail, and Cutout Reservoir is not the only spot close by, Berland Reservoir is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Cutout Reservoir has it all. Hiking along the Cottonwood Creek Trail is glorious fun, and it's a good idea to have a look at South Fork Summit Creek.

it's generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cutout Reservoir.
