Why not stop by Cutout Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. Cutout Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dried up place; most of the rain falls during May; July is when it's the driest. Rimrock Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cutout Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Kirkland Campground, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Cook Creek Trail.

Spring is a great local attraction. Don't forget to take a great little trip to South Fork Summit Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Imnaha River. High temperatures at Cutout Reservoir during the months of summer are
in the 80's; the overnight is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; nighttime lows at Cutout Reservoir all through the winter regularly fall into the 20's.
