A splendid spot to camp here at Curry Lake is Shelburne Farms Camp, and if you need a location to stay Wittenberg Inn is a pleasant choice. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Curry Lake has to offer. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Keene Reservoir near Curry Lake, and Wheatland Dam has brilliant water scenery. All the water falling down from the sky makes Curry       Lake a wet site; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. Union Bar is right next door to Curry Lake and is a nice spot; this is a popular site for folks from Salem. High temperatures at Curry Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Curry Lake dipping down into the 30's during                  winter nights. Why not camp at Portland-Dayton RV Park while you're here at Curry Lake; Rodeway Inn Salem is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
