A spree to Lyons Beach close to Cunningham Lake is always a good idea, and a wonderful close by hotel is Mc Cormick Hotel. At Cunningham Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Cunningham Lake throughout the winter commonly fall into       the 30's. Cunningham Lake gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. Not far from Cunningham Lake, you'll hit upon Bryce Lake which is a wonderful lake, and hey, Crooked Creek is a fine local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Salene Lake is a delightful place, and do schedule some time to visit Cathlacom Point if you have a chance. Swamps like Crane Slough are fun to pop by.                  There's so much to do here at Cunningham Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sauvie Cove Store and RV Park is a perfect site for that. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Paddling on Kalama River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cunningham Lake has to offer, you can camp at Violette's Villa. If you need a place to stay Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a splendid choice; close by you stumble on Fishtrap Shoal which is a pleasant location to visit.
