Why not stop by Culver Lake if you're passing through these parts. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Rama Inn & Suites, and Hummingbird Mountain is clearly visible from Culver Lake. Camping is available at Scenic Meadows RV Park, also Lookingglass Lake Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Main Creek Trail, and Baker City Super 8 Motel is a fine place to get some rest. Culver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains.

Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Wallowa Mountains. You simply must go to Granite Cliff while you're here at Culver Lake.
