A short journey to Knott Spring is always worthwhile, and a perfect place is Bohemia Saddle. Near Crystal Lake you discover the Steamboat Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; glide down the rapids of Champion Creek in a kayak. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. There are glorious locations to discover along the Canton       Creek Trail, and Crystal Basin is a charming site any time of year. The high level of precipitation makes Crystal Lake a relatively wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is great! There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Errin Campground is a pleasant location for that, and you                  need to have a look at Kitten Rock if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. From Crystal Lake you acquire a perfect sight of Bohemia Mountain, and do explore Elephant Lake, it's a pretty lake. At Crystal Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 70's; the night is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. If you need a spot to stay Cascade Motel & Storage is a great choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brice Creek. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do right next door to Crystal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Slim Chance Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oakridge Inn.
