    The beauty of Cross Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Cross Reservoir is located in the Blue Mountains. Lonesome Spring Campground is a tremendous campground here, and Buck Hollow Creek is right next door to Cross Reservoir and is always a delight to have a look at. Throughout the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Cross Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's  
   with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cross Reservoir.
Cross Reservoir is pretty dried out usually; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Twin Springs Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Burnt Corral Spring.
This lake is so
 
               wonderful. A wonderful lake like Amber Reservoir in the vicinity of Cross Reservoir is a pleasant site to stop at; the fine people of Prineville like to hang out close by.
