Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Crescent Lake is one of them. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Tombstone Prairie Campground is a pleasant spot to camp, and after a long day outdoors Sleepy Hollow Motel is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Crescent Lake without first going for a hike along the Pyramid Trail, and everybody close by loves skiing

| | at Hoodoo. At Crescent Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Crescent Lake through the wintertime usually fall into the 30's.

into a kayak and hit Santiam River - North. Detroit Motel is a glorious place to get some rest, and there are good locations to explore along the Crescent Mountain Trail. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Crescent
Lake has it all. Crescent Lake is not the only location nearby, Cougar Lake is a nearby lake; there's magnificent hiking along the Browder Ridge Trail.
Crescent Lake gets much water; the month of December is the wettest with most
of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Crescent Mountain can be seen from Crescent Lake, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Santiam River - Middle.
The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
