Crescent Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a tremendous local campground, and you'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Dry Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake, and at Crescent Lake you can see Crescent Mountain. If you come at the right time of year, Santiam River -       Middle offers some magnificent whitewater; do go to Cougar Lake, it's a picturesque lake. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come here to Crescent Lake for a fine time. Float down the rapids of Santiam River - North in a kayak, and a day on the slopes of Hoodoo is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Crescent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a splendid                  spot for that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Crescent Mountain Trail. During the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Crescent Lake, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Crescent Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range rules! Crescent Lake is right by the Pyramid Trail, and hiking along the Browder Ridge Trail is pleasant fun.
