Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range. A good spot to camp here at Crawfish Lake is Slim Chance Campground; the Bohemia Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Crawfish Lake is a wet spot that gets much rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Crawfish Lake has it all. Going for a hike on

| | the Canton Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure; Elephant Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Whitewater paddling is great on Brice Creek. Near Crawfish Lake you come across the Silica Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oakridge Inn. a lake nearby is Lake Murphy. Camping at Casey's Riverside Park is always a nice experience, and the summit of Adams Mountain can be seen from Crawfish Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Utopian Saddle
since you're here at Crawfish Lake, and get drenched paddling on Champion Creek. All through the warm months at Crawfish Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's.
During the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Crawfish Lake. All year is a great time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. A short journey to Marten Spring is always worthwhile, and of course Cinge Creek is a charming stream that is worth stopping at.

Dexter Shores Mobile Home and RV Park
 | 16 miles away 2 PHOTOS ...hs, there are a variety of activities as depicted on the handout. All are fun, especially the Blackberry Jam with the many events going on in Lowell which is only 2 miles from our Park.
As July turns to August, the blackberries begin to ripen and are ready to pick off the bushes in our Park and in the nearby areas. It's fun to just pick and eat some as you go!
In the fall you'll see an array of colors in the various deciduous trees and shrubs along with the stately evergreen trees staying their wonderful lush green color.
We are about an hours drive to snowmobiling and cross-country skiing at Crescent Lake Resort, which is a part of the Hoodoo Family. Before reaching Crescent Lake Resort, you'll arrive at the top of Willamette Pass where you can find downhill skiing.
Crater Lake (about 100 miles) and the Beach Cities (about an hour) would make great day trips. Cottage Grove and Coburg have antique shops and are interesting towns to visit (each is about 20 miles from Park)
