This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Lucky Lake Trail, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Twin Lakes is one of those close by. Crane Prairie Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. At Crane Prairie Reservoir through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Through       the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Crane Prairie Reservoir through the winter usually dip into the 20's. So much amusing stuff close to Crane Prairie Reservoir, absolutely incredible. Nearby lakes? Sure, North Twin Lake is in close proximity to Crane Prairie Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Corral Swamp Trail. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is peerless! Stay the night at Upper                  Campground, and float down the rapids of Deschutes River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Crane Prairie Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's close to Crane Prairie Reservoir, and Willamette Pass is a fine local ski area. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deschutes River, and Browns Mountain is clearly visible from Crane Prairie Reservoir. Crane Prairie Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is generally the driest month. After a long day outdoors Best Western Newberry Station is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Crane Prairie Reservoir is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, North Wickiup Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and swing by Browns Creek it's a good site to explore. The skiing at Mt.
