All through the warmest time of the year at Crampton Reservoir highs are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures       at Crampton Reservoir descend into the 30's. That right there is loads of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express PORTLAND-EAST (TROUTDALE); get drenched paddling on Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Washougal Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Crown Point RV Park is a great campground nearby. You'll                  beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range. There are other places here than Crampton Reservoir, for example Sesters Reservoirs; on a pretty day you can visit Sundial Beach. Glide down the rapids of Washougal River in a kayak, and Sester Reservoir Number 1 is a fine lake nearby. If you need a site to stay Best Western Sandy Inn is a tremendous choice; there are plenty of people from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Ainsworth State Park is a perfect local campground, and on a lovely day you obtain a great panorama of Cemetery Hill from Crampton Reservoir. So many entertaining things close to Crampton Reservoir, absolutely astonishing.
