If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Crampton Reservoir. The high level of rainfall makes Crampton Reservoir a quite wet spot; during December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Best Western Sandy Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and if the weather is wonderful, you acquire a great view of Cemetery Hill from Crampton Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A nice beach close to Crampton

| | Reservoir is Sundial Beach, and camping is available at Crown Point RV Park. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. A magnificent nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Gresham-Troutdale, Or, and Mountain View Golf Course Restaurant Lounge is a nice golf course nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. Looking for some flowing water? Try Big Creek, and Crampton Reservoir is not far at all from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton. | |

And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Do check out Sester Reservoir Number 1 near Crampton Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River. Crampton Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. The Washougal Trail offers hiking at its best, and a tremendous spot to camp here at Crampton Reservoir
is Ainsworth State Park. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Crampton Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Crampton
Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Sesters Reservoirs close to Crampton Reservoir is a great site to visit, and Washougal River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby.
