The beauty of Craig Lake attracts many people from all around. Near Craig Lake you hit upon the Thirsty Camp Trail which is a great hiking trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Very wonderful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Hoodoo; from Craig Lake you acquire a wonderful sight of Hogg Rock. Summer brings highs in the 80's to

| | Craig Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows in the 20's for Craig Lake. Craig Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with lots of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Suttle Lake is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and the South Loop Trail
is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Whitewater paddling is great on Santiam River - North, and going for a hike on the South Loop Cut Off is always a great adventure. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. You could also take a look at Little Duffy Lake since you're here at Craig Lake; it's nearby, and hey, Hoodoo Creek is a nice local stream.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a splendid choice. There's so much to do here at Craig Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Springs Resort is a pleasant place for that.
