All through the warm days of summer highs here at Crabapple Lake get into the 60's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Crabapple Lake tend to be in the 30's. Crabapple Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. A day at Sunset Beach near Crabapple Lake is time well       spent, and Best Western Astoria Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. Hammond Boat Basin is a good location to stretch your legs a bit; you'll meet a lot of people from Astoria here. If time allows, Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a national park worth going to, and Fort Stevens State Park is a delightful campground here. Having a delightful time at Crabapple Lake is trouble-free. A lake close                  by is Abbot Lake, and the Cannon Beach Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Golf can be played at Astoria Golf & Country Club, and a swamp like Brallier Swamp near Crabapple Lake has lots of attention-grabbing things to see. The high level of precipitation makes Crabapple Lake a relatively wet place; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.
