    What a nice lake Coyote Reservoir is. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Davis Creek Reservoir is a nice lake near Coyote Reservoir, and don’t forget to stop by Cinnabar Flat while you're here at Coyote Reservoir. There's tremendous hiking along the South Prong Trail, and a quick spree to Cougar Creek is without doubt a good idea.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in close proximity to Coyote Reservoir has to offer.
 
   The Coffeepot Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Coyote Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fish House Inn is a good site for that. Having a good time in the Blue Mountains is simple. If you haven’t been to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here. Coyote Reservoir is pretty arid regularly; most of the rain falls through November, and September is when it's the driest.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. At Coyote Reservoir you can observe Spur Butte, and you can stay the night at Pine Tree Campground. Summertime highs at Coyote Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Coyote Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
