In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Coyote Reservoir is one of them. So much amusing stuff to do in the Blue Mountains, not sufficient time. There's so much to do here at Coyote Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Tree Campground is a tremendous place for that, needless to say you could also visit Fort Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Coyote Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fish House Inn is a great local campground, and the Coffeepot Trail offers hiking at its best. Coyote Reservoir is not the only site nearby, Greenwater Reservoir is a nearby lake; let's not forget Cougar Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here. you haven’t been to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. Be careful coming to Coyote Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return home again. Hiking is a popular thing to do around
Coyote Reservoir; Black Canyon Trail is a great local trail, and at Coyote Reservoir you can spot Spur Butte. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Buck Spring, and there's splendid hiking along
the South Prong Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year at Coyote Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Through the wintertime
the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Coyote Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Coyote Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty arid site; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is September.
