Cox Reservoir is pretty dry mostly; the month with most of the snow is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. A great place close to Cox Reservoir is Wildhorse Canyon, and Cox Reservoir is a tremendous spot to camp, Shady Lanes Trailer Park is a tremendous spot. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade       Range. At Cox Reservoir during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Cox Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Lava Beds National Monument is one of the destinations near Cox Reservoir that are great to go to, as expected you could also check out Bechdoldt Reservoir since you're here;                  it's not far at all.
