Take a little journey to Hoekstre Slough while you're here at Couter Reservoir, and Blanchard Reservoir       is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Couter Reservoir is a rather wet place commonly with a large amount of rain; during December this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Couter Reservoir with night lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Couter Reservoir.
