This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Gold Hill Trail is always a good adventure. Much precipitation falls at Cougar Reservoir; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on Lookout Creek is so much fun; Cougar Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday

| | Farm RV Resort is a great local campground. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Cascade Range. The Tipsoo Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Cougar Reservoir; if you need a location to stay Best Western Oakridge Inn is a great choice. Annie Creek flows through this region; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Tokatee Golf Club. So much fun stuff to do here at Cougar Reservoir, too tremendous | |

Dam if you're here. There's so much to do here at Cougar Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Echo Campground is a great spot for that. All through the warm days of summer at Cougar Reservoir highs are mostly in the 70's.
For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cougar Reservoir are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Lake is a glorious lake next to Cougar Reservoir; get covered with water paddling on Blue River.
