    It's always fun to stop by Cottonwood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Georges Peak Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Goble Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful neighborhood for people who like lakes, Adams Lake is a lake close at hand. Why not check out nearby Adams Creek if you're here at Cottonwood Lake; Cottonwood Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Louis L Rasmussen RV Park  
   is a good local campground.
Cottonwood Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. All through the warm days of summer at Cottonwood Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and overnight lows at Cottonwood Lake through
 
               the wintertime generally fall into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Cottonwood Lake is Scipio's Goble Landing, and drift down the rapids of Kalama River in a kayak.
So many enjoyable things to do at Cottonwood Lake, so little time. You are near Deer Island Point if you're here at Cottonwood Lake, and after a long day outdoors Kalama River Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oak Meadows Inn, and the friendly people of Longview-Kelso like to hang out nearby. A brilliant swamp next to Cottonwood Lake is Benham Slough; a wonderful beach nearby is Goble Beach.
