Man, is there a load of amusing things to do next to Corral Reservoir. A trip to Little Summit       Prairie revives the spirit, and there are pleasant places to discover along the Owl Creek Trail. It is very dried out here at Corral Reservoir typically; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. There's so much to do here at Corral Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Little Summit Campground is a glorious place for that It's always great to stop by Bog Spring. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it                  here in the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Black Canyon Trail, and if you have time, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth checking out. Don't leave Corral Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Coffeepot Trail, and you'll come across a beautiful lake called Camp Reservoir. For the duration of the warm months at Corral Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
