It's always fun to stop by Copper Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Copper Lake a relatively wet location; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest. Copper Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Copper Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter

entertaining things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. A visit to Gawley Basin invigorates the spirit, and float down the rapids of Santiam River - Little North in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. It's a great idea to stop
by Fibre Creek, it's in the vicinity of Copper Lake, and paddling on Mollala River - South Fork is so much fun. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is excellent! Don't leave Copper Lake without
first going for a hike along the Baty Silver King Trail; Mud Springs is a wonderful location to go to while you're at Copper Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Sandy Inn is a nice choice,
and you can go for a hike on the Pine Crest Trail. Good hiking is available along the High Camp Trail, and Copper Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Cascade Sports Camp is a good spot to camp nearby.
