So much exciting stuff to do at Copper Lake, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a wonderful spot to camp; why not take a refreshing hike along the Snowshoe Lake Trail. Copper Lake commonly gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. All the outdoors exciting stuff       in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Mt. Bachelor. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Horse Creek, and Simon Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Upper Campground is a nice local campground, and if you get bored of Copper Lake you could also have a look at close by Cathy                  Lake. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Willamette Pass, and the Winopee Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Copper Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Copper Lake throughout the winter generally dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
