The high level of rain makes Copepod Lake a reasonably wet location; most of the rain falls all through December, and the driest month is July. Copepod Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Copepod Lake. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Mink Lake Loop Trail; Wright Spring is a       great local attraction. Mink Lake Basin is a beautiful location any time of year, and drift down the rapids of Horse Creek in a kayak. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Copepod Lake you can take a hike along the Lake Way, and do take a hike on the Mud Lake Trail. What would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Bachelor; you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Boot Lake. You'll truly wish for more                  hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Stay the night at Upper Campground, and pretty scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Willamette Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that perfect but Cabin Meadows near Copepod Lake is reasonably perfect; East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a pleasant campground here. Through the long summer days highs here at Copepod Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
