Why not have a look at close by Cliff Creek since you're here at Coon Lake, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Neskowin Beach. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. All the water falling down from the sky makes Coon Lake a wet place; the       wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Paddling on Siletz River is so much fun; if you came for an overnight stay Logan Road Recreational Vehicle Park is a good site to camp. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is bountiful here in the Coast Ranges. You could also go to Lake Neskowin while you're here at Coon Lake; it's close by, and get drenched paddling on Nestucca River.                  All through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Coon Lake. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's while Coon Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course in the vicinity of Coon Lake is Neskowin Marsh Golf Course; Cascade Head is very near and is a good location to pop by. Devils Lake Recreational Vehicle Park is a brilliant local campground, and a great close by hotel is Bel-Aire Inn and Suites. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges.
