The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Cliff Creek, and if you need a site to stay Bel Air Motel is a great choice. Be careful coming to Coon Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. There's so much to do here at Coon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Otis Koa Kampground is a wonderful location for that, and if you're here you       should take a look at Cascade Head. Hit the beach if you want, Neskowin Beach is practically right here; if you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Neskowin Marsh Golf Course. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. Coon Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Devils Lake State Park is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Nestucca River. Lots of rainfall                  falls at Coon Lake; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. All through the warmest time of the year at Coon Lake highs are generally in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Coon Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges.
