While you're here at Cook Reservoir you will meet lots of people from nearby Grants Pass, and Best Western Grants Pass Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. This place, the Siskiyou Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. If you came to camp Have-a-nice-day Campgrounds is a good place to do that, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express       Grants Pass, Or is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cook Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Riverfront Trailer Park is a magnificent site for that, and do check out Banning Creek if you're here at Cook Reservoir. So many cool things to do in the Siskiyou Mountains, not enough time. There are wonderful locations to explore along the Low Gap Trail, and there are other places here than Cook Reservoir, for                  example Katzenbach Reservoir. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Cook Reservoir has to offer. There are swamps here too; Stone Sumps is close by, and Bamboo Gulch is absolutely a glorious spot to stop at. Summertime highs at Cook Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 90's; the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cook Reservoir temperatures descend to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Cook Reservoir, you'll come across FS Reservoir which is a pretty lake, and going for a hike on the Grayback Clapboard Trail is always a magnificent adventure. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Cook Reservoir; all through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
