Why not stop by Cone Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. Just can't get enough of the Stochs Mountains. Near Cone Reservoir you stumble on Blair Canyon which is a good place to go to; Blitzen Crossing Campground is a fine campground here. Cone Reservoir is located in the Stochs Mountains. It is very arid here at Cone Reservoir generally; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July.

| | is so wonderful. A great place like Fields Basin here at Cone Reservoir is too good to miss, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the The Beef Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cone Reservoir while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cone Reservoir. You'll discover a charming lake called Blair Canyon Reservoir near Cone Reservoir, and a spree to Cone Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Mud Spring.
