Colt Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Colt Lake you can take a hike along the Horse Lake Trail, and there's whitewater on Horse Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Colt Lake get into the 80's. During the dark hours       of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Colt Lake throughout the winter frequently sink into the 20's. What a place this is for outdoors people. You can run the rapids of Squaw Creek near Colt Lake, and if you came to camp East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. At Colt Lake you can spot Red Hill; camping at Upper Campground                  is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Island Meadow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hoodoo. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Everybody loves Island Meadow, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Mt. Bachelor. Hiking along the Horse Mountain Trail is splendid fun, and you'll locate a lovely lake called Aerial Lake.
