This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Oakvilla Mobile Home Park is a great location to do that; if you've had enough of Colorado Lake, Asbahr Lake is close by. Get drenched paddling on Marys River, and Marysville Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby. The high level of rain makes Colorado Lake a reasonably wet place; of all the months       in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Colorado Lake. A quick tour to Frazier Creek right next door to Colorado Lake is a good idea, and Colorado Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Carter Lake - Siuslaw National Forest is a tremendous local campground. After a long day outdoors Salbasgeon Suites is a tremendous location                  to spend a night or two; if you like swamps you're in luck, Stewart Slough is right close by. If you need a site to stay Best Western Grand Manor Inn is a brilliant choice, and at Colorado Lake you always meet someone from Corvallis. Soar down the rapids of Willamette River in a kayak, of course you could also visit Stewart Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Colorado Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.
